My artistic tendency is to work autobiographically, creating from an internal place though narratives, which are open to interpretation. Many of my concepts stem from periods of introspection triggered by varying occurrences, from simple prose to the complex and far-reaching entrails of depression, my own curiosity or apathy of the same, all of which require either reflection or investigation to define. I am interested in issues of time and memory in relation to place, the power and impossibility of “understanding” in the broad and general sense of the word, the connection between music, the visual and the spiritual, and the intricacies that both connect and divide us to the tangible world.
